UglyKitty: Gocco Goddess

We absolutely love the idea of using a Gocco to screen print wedding and party invitations, but working with intricate designs and multiple colors is tricky and takes a lot of skill and patience. That’s why we’re convinced that Renee of UglyKitty is a Gocco Goddess. Her designs are amazing!

Seriously Cute Crochet…. Seriously.

Ana Paula Rimoli, author of Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet, makes the cutest crocheted creatures we’ve ever seen. Our absolute favorite has to be The Prince from Katamari Damacy (one of the greatest video games ever). The best part of her crocheted creations — all of her patterns are available through her Etsy shop!

BB Wrap-Up Part III: Small Screen Designs

From clothing to cards to tote bags, our next Bazaar Bizarre find had it covered — in ink, that is! Sara Hoover of Small Screen Designs has an awesome retro style, using images of items such as Vespas, ghetto blasters, and 1950’s glasses.

BB Wrap-Up Part II: Gneural

We’re not naming names, but someone on The craftershock Team is a little bit obsessed with Moleskines, and was overjoyed with our next Bazaar Bizarre find. Walking up to Debbie Clapper of Gneural’s booth, we were immediately impressed by the selection of handmade one-of-a-kind notebooks and buttons. Then we realized Debbie was creating a new journal right before our eyes, drawing the cover by hand with a Sharpie. Awesome!

BB Wrap-Up Part I: Caseybots

It’s no secret that we love funky little stuffed creatures, so we were oh-so-happy to find a booth stocked with an array of awesome critters at Bazaar Bizarre. Created by Casey McClurg of Caseybots, we assure you that these squishable bots are even cuter in person! We especially loved their big toothless mouths — so much so, that most of our time at her booth was spent with our hands in these little guys’ mouths, wearing them like mittens. Hey, we’re professionals!
