Geeks Gone Crafty: Super Mario Brothers Crafts
Last week, we wrote about a Katamari Damacy crocheting pattern that we adored, and it got us thinking about video games. Specifically which video games kick the most ass. So today we’re showcasing a collection of awesome Super Mario Brothers crafts!
First up is the Super Mario Brothers scarf. If you’re unfamiliar with this “extreme-geek knitting project,” we’ll give you a quick summary; Cassie Smith is currently knitting the entire first level of Super Mario Brothers into a scarf. Once finished, her “super nerdy” boyfriend Jason has promised to propose to her. Oh, the geek love is in the air!

Next, we have this unbelievably awesome afghan made by Tracy Thomasson of Thomcat Designs. We can’t even imagine how long it took to make, but the end result is definitely worth the hard work.

Need a set of geeky coasters to impress your friends? Check out this Perler bead coaster set, complete with Question Mark Block holder made by Lauren of Lost Mitten.

Perhaps you’re in the market for a squeezable Mario like this one made by Michelle Rheaume of Michelle Rheaume Designs. So cute!

Wrapping things up is this fantastic needle felted Piranha Plant made by PJ of FoulFowl. Hooray for Super Mario Brothers crafts!
